The Automotive industry is a very demanding marketplace. While Six Sigma is all the rage, ZERO defects is what is really expected. To compete in this market requires a different level of commitment – where zero truly means ZERO and unit cost is as important as quality and delivery.

Precision Plus can handle a wide range of applications from small and intricate to large and complex. Our Swiss made Tornos machines are well suited for the close tolerance turned shafts and pins, while our CNC Swiss-type lathes have live tooling and multi-axis capability to complete the most complex parts in one operation.  This improves quality and our ability to deliver parts in a hurry.

In the consumer automotive industry, our products are found in fuel systems, dual clutch transmissions, wire harnesses, ABS systems and emission controls.

Precision Plus provides quality components that make all these systems perform more efficiently. These components include: electrical connector pins used in the wire harnesses; solenoid plungers and poppets for hydraulic valve systems; check valves, valve bodies and poppets for emission control systems.

Materials used include: carbon, alloy and stainless steels, some machined in an elevated hardness condition; brass and copper alloys; aluminum.  We also have certified vendors for heat treating, grinding, honing and plating to all automotive specifications.
