WE GO THE EXTRA MILE
In January 2009 a customer who had purchased a Dürr parts washing system like ours was having difficulty with the operation and maintenance routines. They were dissatisfied with the initial manufacturer training and were considering exercising the return clause within the contract.
We offered to send two team members to their facility to address the training deficiencies. Our guys drove 8 hours in a January snow storm in Wisconsin to get to the customer's plant, spent a day and a half there (minus 24 degrees the first morning) going through all the routines and by the end of the two days had the customer's staff convinced they had the right piece of equipment.
By their own calculations this saved them over $9,000 and demonstrated a true partnership is not just about price, quality and delivery, but about personal relationships.
