Grow with Precision

Life is a journey, filled with learning opportunities for those unwilling to settle. Education is a lifelong endeavor and one we encourage very much. Whether it be helping introduce manufacturing and engineering principles to high school, tech college and university students, or our own team members, we take the matter of education very seriously. In fact, in 2013, we brought on a full-time teacher as our Director of Education and Training to lead our internal and external education efforts. This position is charged with both our outreach campaign and internal training efforts from the most basic level to advanced CAD/CAM theory and engineering principles. We have averaged 14 paid summer internships and 5 paid youth apprentice (YA) opportunities during the school year. Keep in mind we are a small, privately held company of nearly 100 manufacturing professionals. One would be hard pressed to find another company so deeply committed to developing the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

Investing in the Next Generation

Investing in the next generation of manufacturing professionals is at the core of what we do. Biz Times Milwaukee highlights how Precision Plus continues to develop relationships with surrounding educational partners to attract and retain the Gen Z workforce of tomorrow in the following article.

Advancing Education

Precision Plus leads the way in education with a purpose.  We champion technical education, not just any general degree, and focus on every student’s return on investment (ROI).   We have seen far too many young adults that have pursued 4-year degrees, regardless of cost or benefit only to find themselves without employment, or under employed.  Education should focus on a career path and provide full disclosure of the cost/benefit scenario to every student. If you are interested in learning more about our blueprint for prosperity, please reach out for a deeper conversation.

Career Training

Precision Plus encourages every team member to pursue ongoing education.  We have classes on CAD/CAM, host workshops on everything from IT systems and software to wellness.  We participate in outside training at trade association, technical and management conferences, all with the intention to attract, develop and retain the very best team possible.  If you are not getting the opportunities you feel you are capable of, let’s schedule time to discuss what we may be able to offer you.
