Precision Plus Recognized as Green Professional by the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council

The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council has named Precision Plus a Green Professional within its Green Masters Program. Recognizing sustainable actions by businesses from across the state of Wisconsin, the Green Masters program works to identify businesses that have taken at least one action within each of the nine pillars of sustainability. Participants in the program receive recognition for their sustainability accomplishments and develop ideas for future sustainability actions.

Neil Fleishhacker, Facilities Manager of Precision Plus, leads the way in identifying opportunities and implementing plans to make the company more sustainable, including recent projects of compressed air management (mapped out auto shut off systems to cut off air leaks), converting office lighting to LED, reducing company waste, upgrading old equipment to more modern and energy efficient technology, and adding two more compressors to the existing pair, which now all work together by turning themselves on and off when needed to save energy.

“The Green Masters Program is a tool for businesses to assess and grow their sustainability programs, to benchmark against their industry and to receive a third part certification recognizing their achievements in sustainability,” says WSBC’s managing director, Jessy Servi Ortiz.

This is the seventh year that Precision Plus has been a part of the Green Masters Program and Precision Plus looks forward to continuing to grow our sustainability efforts in the years to come. Neil Fleishhacker has done, and will continue to do, great things for the company in terms of sustainability and Precision Plus is glad to have Neil on their team.

The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s (WSBC) mission is to advance sustainable principles and practices forward through the power of business. They support businesses and sustainability professionals through an array of programming, education, resources and tools and are a catalyst for businesses looking to integrate sustainability into the fabric of their organization and be a force for good. They are a network of businesses integrating sustainability into business operations at a time when the business case for sustainability (defined in terms of people, planet and profit) has never been stronger.
